Unit Overview
This unit, based in faculty of Education, is dedicated to delivering information technology services to students, and staff in order to enhance the efficiency of both educational and administrative processes. The unit works to automate a significant portion of the faculty’s services, facilitating seamless communication and enabling e-administration and e-learning. It achieves this by leveraging information technology to connect the faculty with its students, and staff, activating e-learning and distance education platforms, and developing the technical infrastructure.

Vision
The faculty Electronic Services Unit is committed to providing integrated, continuous, and advanced electronic and digital services to all students, staff members, assistant staff, and employees, in accordance with the standards of the Supreme Council of Universities.
Mission
The faculty’s E-Services Unit strives to develop information infrastructure, strengthen information technology systems, raise technological awareness, and ensure benefits for all stakeholders. It also aims to help bridge the digital divide within higher education institutions, in alignment with the higher education development strategy of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Unit Objectives
The Unit aims to:
- Develop the faculty’s technological infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the University’s Electronic and Knowledge Services Center to achieve the required goals and policies.
- Activate email services for students and staff members.
- Activate electronic platform services for students and staff members.
- Disseminate news regarding the staff , its departments, administrative offices, and units.
- Update the faculty’s data on the electronic portal
- Providing e-learning services to the staff members and students on the platform.
Organizational Structure
Unit Functions
- Strengthening the technological infrastructure of faculty of Education.
- Organizing training programs for the staff members, and the students regarding the use of technology, the Internet, e-learning platforms and applications, and electronic communication.
- Providing appropriate training courses and workshops to enhance the digital skills of the faculty community.
- Promoting digital literacy and information technology awareness among all groups within the faculty
- Presenting the faculty’s online presence through its dedicated website in a comprehensive and professional manner.
- Implementing cloud services—such as cloud storage and collaborative applications—to enhance productivity within the faculty.
- Managing and updating software in the faculty laboratories and the offices of faculty and staff, specifically covering licensed software used in educational and administrative operations.
- Improving the faculty’s technical performance by monitoring hardware, systems, applications, and internet infrastructure to ensure efficiency and rapid response to any issues..
