Vision and Mission

Vision

To achieve excellence in the inventory management and organization, and to ensure efficiency and transparency in the use of material resources, thereby supporting the educational and research processes and community service at Faculty of Education, Sohag University.

The Warehousing Department at Faculty of Education, Sohag University, is committed to implementing best practices in the storage, handling, and issuance of educational and administrative supplies and equipment. Adhering to standards of quality and good governance, the department ensures optimal resource utilization, supports the educational process and scientific research, and achieves the satisfaction of beneficiaries both within and outside the Faculty.

Objectives

  • Organize and update warehouse records in accordance with the university’s established financial and administrative regulations.
  •  Implement an effective system for inventory and periodic monitoring of assets and supplies.
  •  Ensure the safe and proper storage of materials to maintain their quality and usability.
  •  Achieve transparency and accuracy in the processes of issuing, receiving, and supplying materials.
  •  Enhance warehouse operations through digital transformation and the implementation of modern electronic systems.
  •  Develop the skills of warehouse staff through continuous training on modern management systems.
  • Support the faculty  academic and administrative departments by providing required supplies in a timely manner
  • Contributing to rationalizing expenditure and the efficient use of material resources.
  • Strengthening adherence to quality standards and internal audit procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with other faculty  departments to achieve institutional integration and enhance performance efficiency..
