Dean's Word
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Faculty of Education in Sohag was established in November 1971 as a branch of Faculty of Education Assiut University. Students were initially admitted through transfers from corresponding faculties of education, specifically those from Sohag Governorate who wished to enrol starting in the 1972–1973 academic year, the faculty became independent and adopted the Central Admissions Office system for student enrolment. Moreover, the Academic programs began with two specializations, Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry—during 1971–1972, followed by the History specialization in 1973–1974.
