Vision
Enhancing the competence and competitiveness of the faculty’s graduates, and achieving regional excellence in student assessment and examination systems.
Mission
To continuously develop student assessment and examination systems at the Faculty of Education, Sohag University, by employing modern pedagogical and technological methods. This aims to ensure the achievement of targeted learning outcomes for academic programs, improve the quality of education, and enhance the competence and competitiveness of the College’s graduates.
Unit Objectives
1- Promoting a culture of improving assessment and examination practices.
2- Formulating standards and specifications for student assessment within academic programs.
3- Monitoring the implementation of the faculty’s code of ethics regarding student assessment systems.
4- Training the staff and their assistants in developing various assessment tools, based on identified training needs.
5- Monitoring the implementation of the faculty’ measurement and assessment standards manual.
6- Overseeing the administration of electronic examinations, analysing test results, and implementing feedback mechanisms to take corrective actions when necessary.
