Establishment of the Unit
The Faculty’s Training Unit was established according to the decision of the Faculty Council during its meeting No. 453, held on March 19, 2024.
Vision and Mission
Vision
The Unit strives to achieve leadership and excellence in delivering a diverse range of training programs to target audiences from both within and outside the faculty, in accordance with the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
Mission
The Unit aims to provide diverse, high-quality training programs for target groups—including staff within the College and external personnel—aligned with the demands of the external labor market. It also seeks to enhance the efficiency of the faculty’s academic and administrative performance through effective partnerships with local community institutions.

- Identify the training needs of the staff members and supporting staff across various fields.
- Identify the training needs of the faculty’s students and graduates across various fields.
- Identify the training needs of the faculty’s administrative and technical staff across various fields.
- Propose a training plan for the various target groups within the faculty at the beginning of each academic year
- Conducting training courses for all target groups within the faculty (staff members, administrative staff, and students) as well as external groups (lecturers and administrators in the education sector).
- Coordinating, supervising, and evaluating the training courses conducted by the faculty for various target audiences.
- Measuring the impact and outcomes of the training courses and workshops conducted.
- Documenting and evaluating training programs offered by various entities and projects both within and outside the faculty—for faculty members, their assistants, administrative staff, and students
- Issuing brochures and guides to help publicize the Unit’s various services and capabilities.
- Participating in amending the regulations governing student training at the faculty in a manner that supports the educational process
Functions of the Training Unit
- Establishing an organizational structure for the unit, headed by the Dean of the Faculty.
- Holding periodic meetings for unit members.
- Forming partnerships with local community entities to provide necessary training in the educational field to interested individuals.
- Conducting training courses across various disciplines for the staff members, administrative staff, and students.
- Addressing training needs to enhance the competence of the staff members and administrative staff, thereby increasing their productivity
- Establishing communication with local community entities and individuals to provide educational training services that enhance their competence, thereby benefiting both the individuals and the educational process in Sohag Governorate..
