Unit Vision and Mission
Vision
The Unit aims to be capable of ensuring security, safety, and crisis management through high-level methods and technologies, thereby bringing the faculty’s standards in these areas into alignment with international benchmarks.
Mission
- The Unit is committed to ensuring safety requirements within the faculty’s buildings and facilities, fostering a safe environment free from hazards, and safeguarding the lives of all individuals across all areas of operation.

Unit Objectives
- Ensure security and safety within the faculty of Education, covering facilities, personnel, and other aspects.
- Provide safety measures and equipment within the college.
- Raise awareness among all individuals regarding safety measures.
- Raise awareness about proper conduct during crises.
- Instill a culture of responsible behavior regarding security, safety, and crisis management.

Unit Overview
Unit Functions (Responsibilities)
- Identifying potential crises based on an environmental analysis of the faculty, including an assessment of its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT).
- Planning for potential short- and long-term crises.
- Developing plans and formulating scenarios for addressing and managing crises.
- Implementing preventive measures to avert crises.
- Preparing to handle incidents—such as training the unit’s team and maintaining the equipment used for crisis management.
- Raising awareness regarding crisis management by conducting training and educational workshops to enhance the competence of the faculty staff
- Executing evacuation procedures when necessary.
• Evaluating the measures taken to manage the crisis, identifying strengths and weaknesses, documenting the process, and proposing improvements

- Preparation of a unit handbook.
