Activities of the Seminar on the Correct Foundations for Building a Family as Part of the “Bidaya” Initiative to Build the Egyptian Citizen
In the context of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Citizen,” launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Noumani, President of Sohag University, the Faculty of Education organized a seminar titled “The Correct Foundations for Building a Family” in collaboration with the Association for the Guidance and Care of Women.
The seminar was supervised by Prof. Dr. Hussein Taha, Dean of the Faculty, and former Dean Prof. Dr. Mostafa Rajab. Dr. Wafaa Darwish, a lecturer in the Department of Mental Health, and Ms. Iman Farghal Mohamed, Executive Director of the association, also participated in delivering the seminar.
The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hussein Taha, and Prof. Dr. Mostafa Rajab actively contributed to the discussions, which included substantial student participation. Students expressed their views on the key factors necessary for building a healthy family.
This gathering was conducted under the slogan of the Bidaya Initiative to Build a New Human Being under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with leadership from Major General Abdel Fattah Sirag, Governor of Sohag. Special thanks and appreciation were extended to Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Deputy Governor, for his efforts in making this initiative a success.
