Ministerial Decision Activating Five New Special Programs for Mathematics and Science Teachers in English at the Faculty of Education
The esteemed Professor Dr. Hassan Al-Numani, President of Sohag University, announced that Professor Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has issued Ministerial Decision No. 47 of 2025 to approve and activate five new specialized educational programs. These are fee-based undergraduate programs designed for training teachers of mathematics and sciences in English at the Faculty of Education.
Dr. Al-Numani emphasized the university’s commitment to enhancing the academic programs offered by its faculties and introducing new programs to equip students with knowledge and skills that meet the needs of both the local and international labor markets. These distinguished programs provide students the opportunity to choose the academic specialization that best suits them.
Dr. Hussein Taha, Dean of the Faculty, added that the newly introduced programs include the following:

Teacher Preparation in Chemistry (English)

Teacher Preparation in Geological Sciences
Dr. Taha noted that the Faculty of Education previously offered only one specialized program for Computer Science teachers. With the addition of these new programs, the Faculty now boasts six specialized educational programs, reflecting its ongoing efforts to develop and diversify its academic offerings.
