Opening of the Digital Learning Resources Unit at the College as Part of the “Bidaya” Initiative to Build the Egyptian Citizen
In the context of the presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Citizen,” launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Noumani, President of Sohag University, and with supervision from Prof. Dr. Hussein Taha, Dean of the College, the Digital Learning Resources Unit was officially opened.
Prof. Dr. Hussein Taha, Dean of the College, inaugurated the unit, which has been equipped with 20 modern tablets featuring advanced capabilities, a movable screen, a data projector (Datashow), and a sound unit. This unit houses a vast array of digital learning resources that serve the teaching of various courses designed for teacher preparation across the different academic programs offered by the college. It also supports students in field training in their second, third, and fourth-year courses across various specializations.
The available digital learning resources include dozens of educational videos and interactive CD-ROMs that cater to teaching methods in science, mathematics, languages (Arabic, English, and French), social studies, religious education, and environmental science across various educational stages, including kindergarten, primary, intermediate, and secondary levels.
